5 SEQUENTIAL PHASES:

We have found that a systematic approach to web development ensures that the
end result meets your needs. Based upon our experience, we have developed a
structured process, where the project is divided into. Each phase is distinct in
purpose and results-oriented. We work with you to complete the tasks and
deliverables phase-by-phase. This disciplined process has proven to not only
increase the quality of our work, but also results in the lowest possible costs and
moves the project to an earlier completion date.

phase 1 - Planning/Meeting
To ensure a smooth process, Blue Thing Web Design LLC recommends having
an initial planning meeting with key individuals to review the new website.
During the planning session, Blue Thing Web Design LLC will help develop a site
navigation and hierarchy for the website.

Together we will review:

Website goals (short and long term)
Company Goals and objectives
Intended target audiences for the website

phase 2 –Design Conceptualization
Blue Thing Web Design LLC possesses a rare blend of marketing and graphic
design expertise. Our websites are designed to have a professional and clean
'look and feel.' Extraordinary designs are our specialty and we will distinguish
your companies' website from your competition. Our graphic designers use the
latest Adobe® Photoshop® software which helps to explore new creative options,
and produce the highest quality images for web and print.

Design Presentation
Based upon the goals and needs of your company, our design team will
create up to four design concepts for initial review. Each design includes
one Homepage and One inside Page layout per design concept, which
graphically illustrates how users (audience) will be able to navigate
throughout the website.

Design Modification

After the first review we will be able to make modifications to the initial

design, upon request to meet your needs.

Design Edits Presentation

Based upon your thoughts and feedback from the initial design concept

(s), we will present you with the updated web design version.

Approval of Design

Upon your approval of the design, we will start with phase 3 of the process

building/programming of the website.

phase 3 - Build
This work is divided among a core team of designers and programmers. Images
and ideas are converted to actual code. Any additional features such as database
development, flash animation and other functionality will be integrated at this
stage.
This is the standard mark-up language for web pages used worldwide on the
Internet.

DHTML programming - Dynamic HTML.

Dynamic HTML is a collective term for a combination of new Hypertext

Markup Language (HTML) tags and options, that enables a better

responsive to user interaction.

Java Script programming - Scripting Language.

ava script can interact with HTML source code, to create dynamic content.

PHP programming - Hypertext Preprocessor.

PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. PHP is a widely-used

general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web

development and can be embedded into HTML.

Flash Programming

Macromedia Flash MX creates powerful video, multimedia, and application

development features which allow rich user interfaces, online advertising,

e-learning courses, and enterprise application front-ends.

Control Management Interface (CMI)

A CMI interface enables any employee to make any needed text changes

on your website without any knowledge of website programming.

Database Creation

Database Creations allow various features such as a online calendar of

events, or high-end forms.

phase 4 - Test
The last phase involves testing all applications for cross-platform and browser
compatibility. In simple terms, we make sure your website works on both Mac’s
and PC’s as well as all of the prevalent versions of AOL, Internet Explorer and
Netscape.

phase 5 - Deploy
Once testing is complete, we launch the website. Our standard delivery time is
30 business days after receiving all approved content (text and graphics)
